Clear in time will peal off no matter how good the product, paint doenst stick for very long on slick surfaces . Might stick for 6 months , or could last 2-3 years.
I'd hate to say how many corvette wheels I have had to redo for warrenty when the clear was popping off, and these cars were only 10 months to 2 years old.
I havent tried the new Zoops aluminum sealer but have head good results about the product.
