Spot putty
Does any one know the name of a two part spot putty to use over ppg epoxy primer ? The kind I have now does not seem to want to stay in the pinholes when sanding. I cleaned and dried the areas before using the spot putty but after waiting two days it still seems to come out when wet sanding.
THANKS:confused:

evercoat glazing putty. I spread it with a razor blade, it works good.

I was messing with "Bondo" spot putty today. The stuff is 100% crap-won't stay in the holes at all.
Come to think of it most everything that I've tried that is "Bondo" brand is of lower quality than what I expected for a such a well recognized brand.
JimSibley, thanks for the pointer. I might just try that stuff.

PPG's # is DF-715 Technaglaze ( polyester Glaze)
This is what i use over my NCP-271 Corrosion resistant Primer

Ive had pretty good look with the new bondo, the green type. It doesnt get the pinholes and gaps like regular bondo when being spread, its a lot thinner and seems to bond better to polished surfaces. Mind you ive only used it once, but id never buy the standard stuff again, this was so much easier applying.
