I have a friend who is pretty good with an airbrush. If I have him do it, should I take it to him after I spray the basecoat or after the clear ? And should he use the same kind (ppg dbu) of paint I used for the basecoat, to paint the design on the bowtie ? :HMMM: :HMMM: :HMMM:
I would apply it after the basecoat / before the clear with the same type & brand paint as the base coat. If you bury it in under the clear you won't have to worry about it, especially if you do any shading with the airbrush, then you will definately need to clear over it. Or if it's going to be a solid color you could paint it with a lettering paint like 1 shot enamel. Then you would want to paint it after the clear coat. The color you use is all personal preference. Blue is good. Go Chicago Bears.  **)
