ok here's the deal...i got a 88' chevy pickup, standard cab, long bed, there's some body rot at the rear cab corners, and above the rear wheel wells, i need a round-about guess timate for a flat black paint job, and a gloss paint job, i'd also like to know which will hide the "imperfections" better...gloss or flat, oh and how do you think the flat black would look?
Flat black will hide some, Gloss black will hide nothing. .....
The ONLY WAY to get a price on ANY paint job is to take it to a QUALIFIED body shop and get an estimate.
Here are 10 threads that cover it pretty well............

Bet there's rust along the bottom of the doors and front fenders toooooo.
Even if it's not through to the surface yet, you'll find it when you start diggin'.
