Single Stage or BC/CC for wheels?

I want to paint the black steel Rallye wheels on my Biscayne body color. I have the exact paint mix in Dupont Cromax pro wbc. Now the decision on whether to use a matching single stage urethane or the same BC/CC that is on the car. Which would be more durable? What do the manufacturers do? What say you paint pros?

If ya already have the material use it, I do bc/cc all the time on wheels.

On the wheels for my truck I just used single stage because I'm guessing either way they will see rock chips eventually so I used a good industrial paint to try to help prevent them. Plus I might be able to touch them up easier later on down the road. But like Don said, if you have the material already, use it.

I did the same, bought single stage thinking I could fix chips easier later, but if I had bc/cc that matches I'd use it before buying something else.
