    Base color/SPI primer

     



    A question for those that have used SPI pimers with other brand base colors.

    What Brand did you use and how did it come out, the good bad and ugly of it.
    thanks for your input. I'm sure this will be interesting , at least to me .

    PPG. Dupont, BASF,Speis Hecker all go down good. Stay away from the lower end stuff.

    Not going near the cheap stuff, thats why I'm seeking input. Spi told me that some paints aren't spot sandable with out doing the whole piece over or don't work well with their product. Dupont was one they say wasn't a good choice. i don't know.

    I use PPG and HOK, both very good lines!!!
