Haven't got a lot done lately, been busy on everyone else's stuff. Still have to decide for sure on the headlights, probably one 7" round on each side. I have a '66 Mustang front bumper I am going to cut down to use as quarter bumpers on the front. Top of the roof at ride height is 46 1/2" from the floor. Motor will be a big block Ford stroker, trans a Doug Nash 5 spd, and a 9" Ford floater in the rear. Still lots of work to do and money to spend.

Looking good Dave, you've got some subtle / interesting modifications working. How about a new name for your ride... Rancherstang or something more cleaver.

Can't wait to see more progress.

Lookin' good Dave. The chop ya did on it looks great. There has always seemed to me to be a very fine line between too much chop and not enough. I think you hit it nutz on!

That shovel on the front looks like it would scoop up a cheby powered T-pail quit well, hehe.

I haven't gotten a lot done with my project over the winter months either. Work seems to get in the way. All these commercial storefront projects want their work done last week when they won't be ready for it till next month. Anyway, I was able to get all the dings and dents hammered out of the rear quarters, doors and hood, holes filled etched and primered.

Just got the Populated LED circuit boards in for the tail light/brake/stop (clear bulbs-red light) and the front turn signals (clear bulbs-amber light). The turn signal mounts won't take very much modification to use these, but the tail lights will involve a bit more modification and fabricating. These guys are bright and worth the extra time spent, I think.

Wow!!!!!!!! That looks great Dave. I don't see how those 7 inch headlights will fit in with that front but you did a great chop and you made those quarters look like they belong so I'm sure you'll come up with something cool for the headlights.

I agree, that top chop looks like it belongs instead of being a chopped top. Love the "chebbie scoop".......make strong bumpers. Headlights......that's going to something to see....what you come up with. A 67's not going to be easy.
It looks great so far......can't wait to see the next photos!

Thanks for all the kind words. The chop was only 3", but I also added 4" to the rear edge of the roof to "french" the rear window in a bit more. I have done a bunch of glass bodied cars lately, sure is fun to get back to pingin and dingin on a steel car once in awhile.
