    I agree with shine, I still do some sandblasting but it's limited to heavy parts like frames, castings, wheels etc.

    Usually sandblasting sheetmetal turns into a disaster.
    I've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....

    contrary to old belief it is not heat that warps. but rather the peening of the metal which stretches one side. even with the best equipment there is a lot of knowledge that an operator must have. experience is golden. i have seen thousands of dollars worth of destruction done by backyard blasters. the worst is the sandblaster who do cement trucks and such. they will destroy a car within an hour.
