Gloss Black, it seems like the last 14 out of 20 cars have had some type of gloss black......They happen in spurts here and there, but this past two weeks has been one after the other, after the other.Attachment 54099

That is an understandable choice. Macho... a look of quality and status... maybe a little mysterious too. :-)
A little side story. When I moved from Illinois to Arizona, I noticed there weren't any black cars running around, like we had back home. One afternoon I got into my Chevelle wagon, and grabbed the black steering wheel.... then it came to me!!! It gets VERY "warm", when it's sunny and 115 degrees!!! Yeeeoooowww! {:-(
We also are a dusty place... so black can look real tacky when it's been windy.
I have a question about matching gloss-black. The underside of the hood on my Chev had a bad paint job laid on it. How hard would it to be to match and repaint (note; my hood has three nice rows of louvers)
