Epoxy isn't very good for finishing the surface for paint. I would shoot at least two coats of urethane primer imidiately after the epoxy, then dust it with a guide coat for your block sanding. If you wait too long you will have to sand the epoxy before repriming.
really .. I was told the the spi epoxy is great and is also a high build primer , it covers 80 scratches in 2-3 coats... that is what the persone I talked to when I bought it told me. then I was told by spi to wet sand with 400 then reduce the epoxy by 25% shoot one coat as a sealer wait about an hour shoot base was I told wrong by spi?
