I am going to be purchasing polished valve covers, air cleaner, and some other polished parts such as Summit Cast Aluminum timing cover and water pump. If I polish these items and use a high grade automotive clear on them, will this work on the engine and not yellow, fade or turn colors and keep the parts polished? I know that auto paint and clear on engine blocks is fine so figured this would work as well.
