    29 ford model a paint question

     



    Is it possible to paint the car with out removing the body off of the frame? and if not how hard is it to get the body off ?

    What kind of paint? It does make a difference.

    If you are just going flat black, you can probably do it together.

    For something nice, you will have to at least pull the fenders, running boards, doors and hood....then carefully mask the frame. If the firewall is included, you may have trouble with the engine in it....depending.

    If you want a nice job, pull the whole thing off. With something that old and small it isn't hard and should only take a day or two with some help from a few friends. Take your time with it and do it right the first time or else later down the road it will come back to bite you in the butt.
