Thread: I'm all primed up with more questions

I finished of all my body work and decided to get painting. I covered everything with a primer sealer, that would be a second coat for the interior as I did a coat before the Lizard Skin. Then I applied two coats of the high fill primer and I'm pretty happy with the results. I just have a few slight imperfections that I can see, mostly where I filled in the roof trim, I think a bit of wet sanding should get rid of those with maybe one more shot of high fill. So now I ran out of primer until tomorrow so here's the question:

I'm painting the interior gloss black and the exterior red so.....I would assume you do the interior first in case of any overspray and I have to topcoat it within 24 hours MAX. The outside is gonna be sanded anyway so it can be left for a while, probably tomorrow if everything goes okay. How long should I wait before I tape it up to do the interior, I even considered just spraying it as is cause I have to sand the outer anyways.

Any suggestions, here's some pics of my garage paint booth. Sure is nice with the exhaust fan now. Man that thing was ugly before.
