IC2 did you ever give the metal restore a try? I litterally only spent 20-30 minutes with pretty good results. Might be worth a try.
There is a product out that I am Sponsored by and believe me when i tell you this, there is no other product out there that is better and easier to use NO RUBBING NO SCRUBBING, AND ALL YOU NEED IS ABOUT A PENCIL ERASER SIZE DAB TO DO HALF A WHEEL. Not because they sponsor me but i have tried everything you all have mentioned and this BY FAR is the best. You send them and email and tell them Ron with Nas T Too sent you and they will hook you right up. Look at my car, I HATE POLISHING and this stuff makes it SO EASY..:):):):):D http://www.hotflashcarcare.com/
I should have clarified this too I meant the 2" buffer they sell that hooks up to a drill.
Here is a link, I like pictures vs. words!:)

Steve - I have spent a bunch of time looking at those wheels this winter - through the storm door to my garage shop:mad:. We have had about 3 days since 1 Dec when my 2 propane heaters would even make a dent in the (much) less then 32*F cold. Soon, though:whacked:
