    Painted Engine Block

I was wondering now that I have my block painted I can assemble my engine. How long do you let the paint cure before messing with it? I completely cleaned it out before I taped it but I'll probably want to go over it again. I used Dupont Centari.

If you put a catalyst in the paint a day or two is plenty of time. Acrylic enamel takes about 30 days to fully cure without it...

If you are like most of us Sean, you are bolting parts on way before the paint is even dry. I bet I'm not the only one who can't wait to see the speed goodies going on and rush it a little.
