Steel body, front quarter (compound curve) rust starting to show thru. Going to cut back 1" to good steel and grind the inside down/seal and patch w/mat . I'll end up with three patchs 3" x 5" (give/take) long over the wheels.

I know it shouldn't be done on big exterior places that'll show , because the glass takes heat and moves at different temperatures then the steel so you end up with cracks in your paint.

But someone told me the other day that there was a new product out that is a mix in for your resin that helps reduce the risk of this happening. Anyone know what I’m referring to ?

it's an old tow dolly from an airport a guy uses for his business he's done a lot to it and wants a cool flame job on it. He can afford my paint work but not my metal work . I wanted the job "it'd be good advertisement " but not if I can't do it on a good base, hate to have it crack on him later . It will see lots of use and be left out in the weather hooked up from time to time. . not worried about stress cracks from pulling , more worried about the sun and heat/cold shrinkage over time .
That will look bad on me . .

 thanks for any help.
