primer & paint help me choose!!

i painted a few cars as a hobby about a decade ago, now ive got a new project, 71 nova.
the cars body is fairly straight, needing minimal body work. im not going to take it down to metal.
so id like a bright primer(yellow). but i also need it to fill and stick to a prepped painted surface, any suggestions?

im going to paint the car bright red, almost orange. the paint needs to be two stage, any suggestions.

money isnt an issue for paint, i just want the good stuff that will last. ive painted with ppg with good luck, and omni, wich i hated, get what you pay for uknow!

i also need the paint and primer to coincide with eachother. dont want any reactions with paint.
thanks, and any and all input is appreciated.

What you need to do is go on down to your paint store and just get the products within a system that you need.

PPG, get an epoxy primer (DP) and then a urethane K36 or K38 I would think, then the base coat DBU then clear, 2021 or the like. These numbers may or may not be available in your area. But you get the idea.
