Epoxy primer will be fine. If you don't plan to paint the truck for a few months then you will need to resand epoxy and put one more coat or two and THEN paint over. SPI www.southernpolyurethane.com is a good product and the price is on the lower budget side but this stuff is great. That will seal out the moisture and be fine until you paint it.
