tin canning
i have a door that has a dent in it. when i touch the panel next to it, it goes away and puts one where i touched. i think this is refered to as tin can effect. do i heat it slightly with a propane torch and then quench with ice?

dents are about 12 inches apiece, what would be a safe size to start with, i have never tried this, i remember seeing my Dad years ago getting it red then working toward the middle with hammer and dolly. but havent tried that either.

il try that first, i have one that has the little spikes on it, not the spiral style. see if i can get it right wednesday, trying to get this thing finished for an upcoming show
