The rustoleum, if applied correctly, will be shiny for a while, but it will not last as long or stay nice looking as long as real automotive paint. And I believe it would be susceptible to stains and dulling from gas and other automotive-related chemicals. You might try their technical dept. for input. Just my $.02No, if you were me, you'd do it just like I did.
