I had a pile of unused 1935 Oldsmobile sedan sheet metal parts that I've had cut done and merged with back a 47 Ford cab to make( what I think) is a sweet one off pickup truck.
Given a limited budget I now need to bead or sand blast the cab and primer the rod before I send it back to the body man for final filler and paint. I do not have a paint booth but would like to shoot the cab in my lane way using a sun shade as cover with 3 sides covered in plastic sheets to slow the wind and over spray.
Here's my question. I don't want to kill me or the cat next door; what primers can use to best seal the newly blasted metal while being safe? (I intend to buy the charcol activated paint mask) I've heard trhe epoxy primers work well. I mostly concerned about the damgers of the vapors.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
