HI Dave,
If you are wanting Ghost flames on your Silver base & you are going to use a Dark Purple for the flames then they will not be Ghost Flames . ( not unless your ghost flames & my Ghost flames are 2 different things)The only way I see to get ghost flames with a dark Purlple is tinting your clear with Kandy Purple with your pearl added also , to tone it way down, to where its just a slightly tinted color Clear. The only draw back on doing it this way is keeping the Tiger Stripes & mottling down when actually spraying it this way.
The way I would do it for my ghost flames over Silver base would be to mask off my flames over the silver & then Just Spray my violet pearl

down over the Silver in just a few coats. ( I always do a spray out on a piece of metal to see how it will all turn out before I do the car! I do this Spray out to See how many coats of pearl I need to get the effect I am trying to achieve.)
I hope I didnt confuse you Dave & sounds like you will have a neat Ride when its done .
