I wish I had that 53 Chevy truck too so I can have that as a plain ol Jalopy type hot rod to experiment with like on paint jobs, chopping the top, etc.

i think dave is right about using a gloss with a flatener in it, i think you will like the results better. my very little experience with flat black is that its always blotchy when im done, although it was always from a rattle can.
