Brown stuff comming out of the paint ?
Hi from Norway
Is it possible to cover/seal an old dryed/cracked car paint ?
And not have to srip off all paint ?
It also have som tiny spot, and after I have washed my car (without drying it) when it has dryen by it self,it is full off small brown spots.
(like chocolate ) I think it is the old brown filler that comes out.
Its not rust, because this is comming from the layer between the genuin paint and repaint.
Car: Rolls Royce Silver Shadow 1969 was shell grey it is no old english white.
Regards
Eivin

Hi there i personally would strip ALL of your under coats down 2 the bare metal and start from scratch.U can use paint stripper (chemical) its harsh but it works, or get a stripping pad 40 or 80 grit depending on how much paint u have on ur car. I hope that helped u...zig

I second what ziggdaville says,
You cannot have a solid top paint foundation , if the underneath substrate is crap.
Thats the bitch of having a nice paint job , no shortcuts can be done, as everything revolves around the foundation!!!
Sorry there is no easy fix
SprayTech
Is it going into a build, or making a trip to NM?
