typically ghost means that you can only see them when the suns reflection is at the right angle in comparison to your eye. with this stated, using a grey to ghost in tangerine you probably would not get a true ghost effect..
but back to your question, yes it is possible to ghost with candy paints if you take your time and know how to apply candies properly... typically you would just add pearl to the candy coat and for your last coat you would tape off what you want to flame, spray the flame area with 1 to 2 very light coats of the candy with the pearl.
