I want to paint these mirrors I have...
For my little project. This will be my first attempt at painting anything with a spray gun. I have a 6hp compressor and Sears LVHF gun.
These are painted with factory GM paint. What steps should I take to prep the surface? Do I need to remove the existing paint or can I prime & then paint right over?
I figured this would give me good experience as a simple first time paint job.
They're from an Old's Aurora.

You should sand them with 320 or 600 grit sandpaper first or the paint will peel and flake off. You should sand the primer too before the finish coat.
If you mean those red Xs It's probably because the pictures that you are linking to have been deleted or you misspelled the url." Im gone'
