POR15 in the cold
Hey Gang,
We have our '57 bug fenders off and the top sides are done --filled and primed but not painted.
I'd like to paint POR15 on the underside and figure it will be a lot easier painting them while they are off.
Reading the can on how to do the painting but don't see any mention on temperature other than the storage temps.I also checked out the POR site but nothing there either.
It is cold here -11C (almost+10F) and reading about the fumes on that stuff. I think I'll just leave the shop doors open and not start the heater.
Have any of you used that stuff in the cold?
If I understand it correctly it is moisture that cures the POR15 and not heat.
So It doesn't matter about the cold --right?
any insight appreciated
