Touch Up Paint

Hey Don! I need help for touch up paint. I don!t have a paint code. I contacted the previous owner, he could not help me. The vehicle was repainted, not original color. The color is Muisanne Metalic Blue. Thanks RJB

Good Luck with fining the color as most paint manufacturers have their own names for colors , PPG, Dupont,Sikkins....ect. will all call the same color a different name , but will all have the same OEM paint code #.

You might go to a PPG Jobber and see if they have Profit computer, as it will read the color on the car and make a print out formula that can be mixed.

A real painter puts the new color code and product in 2-3 places on the car for future repairs.
And plus puts it on the repair order too!

Yeap, I remember that with my Chevelle in Japan. the weights and measures were in the trunk and the glove compartment. That was a really good painter. And we started out with a paint color I had on a model car.
