Hi, Just thought I would say 'HI' and tell you what I am doing.

I have a 32 sedan which is a long term project. I have had it for 3 years now and have yet to start it, but I have been collecting bits for it.

Its built by a company called Jethro Automotive in the UK and is a the only sedan with IFS chassis I could find. Its more common to get roadsters and coupes here and as a family man I needed more room.

It's going to have a 350/350/8 combo as its my first rod I figured I would keep it simple, but I still wanted to make as much of it as I could.

The body has a 3inch chop and a mild channel, rear fenders are raised slightly. The chassis is very stout with a Ford Cortina front end and a 4 link on the rear.

So naturally I bought another project!!

I was offered a 51 chevy truck in nice dismantled condition! I am planning on building it with beg-borrowed-stolen (I mean very low budget) parts. It will use a 350/350 10bolt combo as its available locally for very little money. I figured it would be easier to build a steel truck before I attempt a glass sedan. At least i can get an assembly manuel for the truck.

For the front of the truck I was going to use a Jaguar front clip as they are easy to fit and give me PS, vented disks and chevy bolt pattern in one hit.

I would love to hear from anyone who has built a 47-54 chevy truck if they have any hints or tips.

All the best,

Craig
