    new to rods

hey everyone i just recently bought my first hot rod. I have been looking for a long time and finally found a doozie. I just bought a 48 kaiser from a friend of a friend it has been completely redone. All sheet metal no mud frenched, shaved, and u channeled on top of a late gm frame rear doors are suicide. Bought a chevy 350 punched 60 over. The car has no engine or steering what soever but does boast a completely new suspension and rearend. If anyone wants pictures very willing to share any ideas on the setup are welcome too. as for me I do sheet metal for the airforce.

a '48 Kaiser, there's one I ain't seen yet. Sounds super sweet. No cookie cutter there. As far as sharing ideas goes, trash the 350 and do something different. Would be a shame to whore up a sweet ride with a plain jane engine. I've got a Cadillac 501 in my garage that'd be just the ticket.
You can see it my way, or you can be wrong.

Everyone is entitled to my opinion.

A deep heart felt thanks goes out to all who are on "eternal patrol" all who have gave their lives so that we could live in freedom and pursue the hobbie that we all love so much. And as you work on your hotrod today, take a moment to say thanks to all the service men and women who will never again be able to work on their own hot rods.
