Here are some photos. The good photos are on my wifes grandmother's computer, or in hard form. Will try to get some of them on here soon. Light is horrible in my driveway, so this is about as good as it gets until Frankenrod runs. BTW...I call it a garbage rod, because it is being built with mostly cast offs, regardless of there lineage.
Welcome jens from a fellow welder/faber' nice to have ya join us

I'm speachless. You have ya work cut out for ya.
and this is the model A Ford...not the best of health in this photo, as I didn't have a garage anymore and it spent the winter outside, undriven (sob), needing a new radiator.
whoops. Oh yeah...no fenders, no hood, frame is 2/4 steel tubing, sontoured to the shape of the body. 1/4 elliptic springs all around, split bones, Pinto 2.3 and four speed (free and running!), 29" tall to top of body! Total cost about $1600, took three years.
"LOL"I thought that was part of the charm?!!!"LOL"Quote:

Hell its almost done! Just a few long weekends, and...I have gotten the firewall and the back panels done and on the car since this photo. Working on my gas tank mounts. Need brake lines to plumb, and build pedal assembly. Need master cylindar. Need a flexible steering shaft from a 71-73 Pinto, anyone got one? Biggest problem is not having any time to work on it, at least not without the wife yelling at me for not working on the house!Quote:

And here is another photo of the A bone. My way of building cars, imposed by being poor, is much the same as builers 60 years ago...find junk, or go to the wrecking yard. I am still just a kid wanting a faster, louder bike!
Photo...uh huh.
