Hello all
I just wanted to say hi. I've just been getting into hotrods in the last year or so and I have never been happier in my whole life. I am actually working on the restoration of a few right now. Our favorite project is the '68 Chevy stepside shortbed-Chubby for short. We also have a '68 Cougar, '71 El Camino, '70 T-bird and a few Corvettes. My dream is to one day fully restore a 67-69 Camaro Z28. I've always got my eyes peeled for one sitting in a field somewhere.....

Welcome to CHR Chubbies.
There's not much chance of finding a 67 to 69 Z28 sitting in a field. There might have been one once upon a time but there's a few thousand guys who would have beat you to it especially in California.
You might be able to trade your El Camino for a rough one if the El Camino is in good shape. If you check on ebay you might find out what's available and how much they cost.

I know where there's a '68 Z-28 unrestored in a shed. Great shape. Bad news is the chance he'll sell 0 .

Thanks for the support everyone. Oh, and by the way, I did find a '67 Camaro in a field today-a field attached to a house, but that's what I was expecting. My boyfriend just knows where to look I guess. Tomorrow I go to offer my "hauling services". Hopefully I can get a good deal. It's not a Z28, but it is an RS. Wish me luck.:3dSMILE:

Nothin' wrong with an RS, I'm bias again. He HE
