I believe his engine and trans came out of an srt8 magnum or something. Has a stage 3 tune on it, gets the job done, I believe he was getting 26 miles to the gallon on the freeway on one of our road trips down south.
Buddy of mine went to Good Guys yesterday and sent me some pictures of two 40 pickups and one 41, good looking trucks but during my build as I look at others most of them seem like the same cookie cutter style builds, original flathead restorations, small block chevys and some with Ford engines, all with the same parts from the same catalog? Hopefully mine will stand out and at the same time be deceiving. ;-)
