Not all that new

Don't know that I am that new since I first joined back in 2012, but I haven't been here in forever. Sold the 48 Plymouth coupe I had at the time that I first joined and just recently decided I needed another car. My wife convinced me that I really didn't have the facilities to build something and with work travel I don't really have the time either. So, I decided to buy one already done. Wasn't what she was hoping for, but.

Have a new to me 37 Plymouth coupe with 360 Magnum / 727. Bought it in Detroit and drove it back to Dallas. Been making a few changes here and there and will continue to work on it to make it mine.

Wow, that thing is beautiful. You drove it from Detroit back to Texas oh, that's great that it's nice and reliable. I also like the 360 / 727 you don't see that very much.

Yep. That's a good looking car. Glad you made it with no real issues. Streetrods can be a crap shoot as to build quality.

Well I gave my 360 Magnum a bit of a face lift. New intake, valve covers, air cleaner, painted the engine and brackets. Still need to do a bit of wiring / hose rerouting, but pretty happy with the outcome so far.

I missed this thread the first time around. That is a sweet looking car, I love '37s. That's really cool that you took it on such a long road trip right out of the gate.
