Hi Hot Rod Members, while searching the net for designs of a Duvall windscreen l stumbled across a thread on how to build my own one . So I joined the Club to view it , it has given me the ideas I need to create my own , which is awesome. I have a 1926 Chev Tourer which has been chopped to a 2 door , which will have a tub on the back . I have been at it for around 2 years and have completed all the chassis work , suspension , engine and trans, all the brakes are completed . The body is almost ready for some paint , then assembly can start . The rolling chassis has been engineered and passed inspection .It is a 350 Chev and turbo 350 trans Holden HT front end HQ disc brakes , Commodoore Diff ,heavy duty reset leaf springs and Disc brake rear . The motor purrs like a kitten and I fitted side pipes , which will sit behind the running boards . The body was just the skins when I started , so I have made all the frame and floor , converted it to suicide doors , new flat firewall with a huge Chev Bow tie embossed into it . I am a Diesel Mechanic by trade and I am enjoying my project and of coarse sometimes it's good to have a break from it every so often . Thanks Paul Freeman.😀😀😀😀😀
