hey guys, i'm John and i'm in the central florida area. working on two projects right now, a '66 mustang coupe and a 71 F100 (future daily driver)

my '66 I bought as a bare shell with solid orig floors and cowl and a good title.

302, T5z , 8" w/ 3.80's and a trac lok

started with this

Welcome to CHR! Nice Mustang and F100. I see a nice donor power train for the F100 hooked to the trailer in the pic.

unfortunately the donor belonged to the guy I got the truck from, he offered to deliver it to me. would be cool though

why is it moderated, because of the pics or because i'm new with no post count?

Those are the ones that get caught, there are many, many more that do not and end up either getting through to the general public (very rare these days), or end up in my moderator Que to weed through the real vs spam posts one by one. It's not a simple process........

didn't see that sticky, hadn't gone into that section yet. maybe put it at the top of the new member sign in also, maybe it would be helpful here

Just hang in there in no time(something like ten posts, you'll be free to not be moderated! Nice truck and stang, being as my first car was a 68 mustang and my first rod was a 48 ford truck I am a kindred spirit!

I had a 1970 F250----------its in some secenes in a few movies and race footage-------I put a 1969 Lincoln 460/c6 in it-many Ford engineers, Goodyear peeps,etc saw it at races and around different happenings-----Ford then finally made factory
option in 1973, ---

So-------if its an FE? 390?????? would be a good transplant to the mstang and get a Lincoln for the truck------

Welcome---------but one question----where in central Florida????????

the truck is a 360, c6, ps, pb, factory air. it sat for about 20 years before I got it. put a fresh set of plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and a set of points in it, fired right up. the trans is bad though.

i'm, in west central florida in spring hill.
