1966 Chevelle Malibu SS ZZ502
Have a Canadian built 1966 Chevelle Malibu SS with a ZZ502, 4 speed car. Not a 138 car but a Canadian 136 car. Less than 5050 SS 396's built in Canada.

You need to take the engine out of the car to do this. It's nearly impossible to get the pan off due to crank journals and the oil pump pickup. Bigger problem is reinstalling and getting the front and real seals in properly. It's not worth the frustration of leaks afterwords. Thanks- I thought so.
Another question, I was told this engine takes 6 quarts of oil. Is that correct? It's a remanufactured 350 with stock pan.
