Welcome aboard DavyJ, you can call me Tech or Richard or whatever you like. I use the techinspector1 handle because of my experience doing technical inspection for 20 years at Firebird International Raceway in Phoenix and for NHRA doing tech at Divisional and National drag races, chassis certification and Fuel tech.
Another clubhotrod member and I, Ken (NTFDAY) began our lifelong love of drag racing at Dahio Drag Strip in Dayton, Ohio back in 1958. Ken was the flagman starter and I would work tech or the top end clocks. We also started an NHRA-chartered car club called Viking Customs that boasted 40+ members.

Sorry, have not been to Vermont in that one........but it has been to many shows, from the LARS to Daytona Turkey run, Syracuse, Columbus, Indy, and many more places in between........That fairground in Vermont is a beautiful place for the show. last time there we spent a few nights in Lake Placid and had a great trip, was driving a flamed 48 Chevy truck that year..................as for the egalitarian? Yup, I like all motor driven vehicles equally...............
