Hello From Alberta
Just joined and thought I would say hello and introduce myself and my (my sons) cars.
Have a mostly done 1967 Camaro rs/ss convertible. Bought in 2012 and just about complete. Just parked today and planning to Install a/c and re-do the interior over the winter. Also need help on the engine issues I will post in a separate area. Never ran great with the FAST EFI.
Also have a 1957 Buick Special Convertible that we are having built and doing some of ourselves. It has a 1963 425 Nailhead going into it.
And currently assembling a 1969 427 BBC out of a 69 Vette. Was going into a 57 Chevy Bel Air but we sold that one yesterday. So the 427 will get a home eventually:)

Welcome from down under too. I will have to do the goggle earth thing to see where exactly St Albert is but I hope it is a area that enjoys heaps of fine sunny dry weather so that you all can enjoy the top down driving. All the cars look real nice even the '57 that departed the garage yesterday. Looking forward to following along on the Buick build.

Welcome. :-)
Great stuff! I have built a '69 Camaro ragtop... and a '57 BelAir hardtop myself.
I am an old friend of Vern "the funnycar and dragster guy" from Edmonton. Do you know him?
That Buick is very cool! I hope you will post pictures when it's done!

Welcome to CHR, and you have some nice cars and projects! The nail head looks like it'll motivate that Buick just fine!

Whiplash.
I wish it were warm here. LOL.
Located by Edmonton, Alberta. Not warm weather here in the winter. -40 at the coldest usually in the -15-25 in the cold months.
My son was in Melbourne for two years in 2010-2012. Loved it there. Beautiful T you have there as well.

Thanks for the warm welcomes.
I do not know Vern but I do have a buddy that is into drag racing. I will ask him when he drops by.
The 425 should be a nice engine for the 57 Buick. I found it on e-bay believe it or not, with about 30,000 miles on it.
It was in Flint Michigan and the seller said he owned it original and had written off the car and put the engine away for a future rod.
I bought it thinking it was a bad idea but I loved it for the Buick. It arrived and the engine shop said it was in near perfect condition, no miles, and they threw in a set of rings and painted it.
Cant wait but it will be a number of years before the Buick rolls. A long term project:)
