Hi I am a mechanic for the city of San Jose,I was a dealership mechanic before that. Most of my experience was from racing.I worked on flat track motorcycles,Scca sports car stuff,1/4 mile drag racing, dirt circle track mostly sprint cars and midgets.
I have a 29 model A with a SBC,turbo 350,9.3 old/pont rear end that I have owned since 1998.I didn't drive it much but I have been driving it more and it rides real hard.I did not build the car so I don't know much about it and want to learn more. Thank you.

Welcome to the forum. I hope you find it a good place to hang out and play around a bit. With your wide range of experience you ought to have some good input to help people through rough spots.Roger

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
