New Rod from MI
It only took until my mid 40's but I finally got my dream car (1930 Ford 5 Window Coupe). I'm excited as hell and have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to hot rods (well maybe a little). I look forward to sharing ideas and gaining knowledge from the group...

Ditto, cannot believe that your #1 post slipped by un-noticed! Apologies triple time. Looks like a sweet little coupe, and looking forward to seeing more of it in the future. I see you checked in earlier today, and hope that you'll forgive our oversight and jump in with both feet!Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
