    52 chevy buisness coupe

Hello everyone I have just purchased a 1952 chevy buisness coupe and was wondering what kind if suspension I should use on it. Any info would greatly be appreciated seeing since this is my first build.

Hey Velasques, welcome to CHR!! Congrats on your '52 Chevy. I'm not a Chevy expert but some of these guys are. The kind of suspension you choose would depend on how you intend to build the car - hot rod, street rod, custom, low-rider, etc and what kind of budget you're working with. Will it be a driver or a show car? Do you have the skills to install it yourself or will you be hiring it done?

Off the top of my head, Jaguar suspension front & rear might be something to consider....it's affordable, rides & handles well, has rack & pinion steering & disc brakes. Just a thought.....

Oh, pics would be great, too! We're a very visual bunch of folks!

2nd that vote. Find a trashed XJ6 that still has the suspension and graft both front & rear into the Chevy for a sweet ride.

Jag 4.2L dressed up to look like an earler 3.8L. Add in a 5spd with a conversion bellhousing.. Perfect.

Hey Parkwood, what bags are those? I'm thinking of adding air bags to my MII on my 40 on a budget. Thay look real similar to an air assist bag for light duty pick up trucks?

Ryan for those bags i'm not sure, but i think they were made by Firestone... They were put on this car by someone else and he did such a bad job the owner was afraid to drive it, parked it for a year until he had me rebuild the front end, i just reused the bags... If you want i have a few places to look and see what i can come up with about getting you some bags but you know thats just the start??? pump, tank, switches,, etc....

I thought about just using a dump switch and leveling valve on the front and rear for now? Then upgrade to a hifi kit later.
