Thanks all for the welcome. The highboy was built around '97 by a guy in Tenn. I'm probably the 4th or 5th owner. It's a healthy chev 305 out of 86 truck, lumpy Comp cam, TH350 auto, TCI frame, Gibbons body, 9" Ford rear. I originally was going to add side hood louvers and red flames, but after having it a little over a year, the "subdued" look is growing on me. I do need tires as these are almost 15yr old. I was thinking of changing to whitewalls and steel wheels trimmed in red with trim rings and mini hubs.
