new from pa
Hello From Pa.signed on the site about a week ago and have been checking things out looks like a very good site with good members and cars.ive been around cars all my life.favorite car is 32 ford coupe.when i was in high school which was a long time ago i used to check the for sale adds in hot rod mag.would see add for 32 ford coupe fresh 283 cad lasalle trans for $250 firm o course i didnt have $250 so i had to wait a good while.i found a 31 model a coupe in the midwest that needed a fair amount of care.after some hageling with the owner i was able to buy it.got it on thr road this past summer and put a little more than 2000 miles on it. it has a 283 with 3 deuses, turbo 400 trans and chev rear with a now 355 posi in it.i still have a lot to do to it but its on the road and a blast to drive and the best part is my better half likes it as much as i do.didnt mean for this post to be so long.

Welcome Woodburner, we're glad to have you. There are plenty of friendly and knowledgeable people here to give you straight information if questions come up.
Send a picture or two of your coupe when you can.

Welcome to CHR Woodburner. I recently posted how to post pictures in a "simplified" way on a thread called "Why can't I post a picture?", maybe you can show us a picture of your coupe. I grew up in Montgomery County west of Phila. and once bought a '30 coupe for $15 but my Dad wouldn't let me keep it. I had previously bought a '31 Fordor for $100 and wanted to swap the body of the coupe on the Fordor frame. That was a long time ago! I wanted an A roadster for so long but the prices just kept going up and up so I finally built a Bebops/Brookville '29 replica. Send us some pictures with close up of the linkage on the carbs.
Best Wishes,
