I can relate to your thoughts of running it as it is as I would have difficulty cutting up a excellent conditioned complete car too. I appreciate restored cars as much as rodded and it comes down to whatever lights your fire,but it would be nice to have two frames, one with the independent suspension all round with late model running gear and the other stock standard so by unplugging a couple of wiring terminals, steering shaft etc., you could swap the body to suit what mood you are in. yeah, it takes money and it sounds too easy but what a dream.
