New Member-Old Timer
Hello Dave Sword here, I have been away from Street Rods for awhile. Sold my last cars in the early 80's 28 Model A 2 dr. and a 27 T TrackRoadster. Started building VW's. Still have 3.
I am a semi retired Pilot/A&P/IA. I hope to build something in the future.

Thanks. I am the Sec. of the Alamogordo Golden Gears. When we reastablished the club in the early eighties we were mostly young. We now refer to the original members as the Golden Geezers.

Welcome Dave, need all the geezers we can get. Dang kids are getting sharper everyday. Hope you enjoy your time at CHR and find a new project that suits your fancy. Oh yeah, a "well done" for resurrecting and old club, when was it first put together???

The Golden Gears date back to 1963. We found some old plaques in the early 80's , Then found some original members and found out if they would mind us using the old name. started with 4 members( I was the first new president) we now have 34. Youngest early 20's oldest a young 70.
