Hi folks,
Been a lot of years but I'm getting back into playing with motors again. My current project is a 454 from a 79 GMC one ton, been bored to 30 already but all the guts look good enough to re-use for a mild 4x4 and some light towing. Looking forward to learning from everyone.

Welcome to CHR! We'll be looking forward to seeing and hearing about your project as you drop that big 454 in something. Maybe a CJ for some offroading??Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Thanks for the welcome. As for the 454 the current plan is to find a decent cab and bed for a chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 I have. Was given to me minus the BBC that was in it, 4spd with the 205 transfer case, rancho springs up front. Body is from back east so it's pretty well shot but the frame is in great shape.
