    Nevada New Guy

Hello all. New to the site as a registered member but have been lurking in the shadows for a while now. I don't currently have any cars or projects but I am looking to begin one in the near future and figured it was time to join the site. I have worked on a few projects with my Dad, '69 Mach 1 restoration and a Gran Torino (not sure of the year) partial resotration before we had to sell it. Anyway, I look forward to taking in a lot of good advice and having fun with my upcomping ventures (still not sure what I want to build, and open to suggestions ). Thanks guys.

    Kevin

Welcome Kevin! At least Dad had you working on the right brand!!!! Only suggestion I would make is don't buy any project until you've spent a bunch of time looking and see something that really trips your trigger and creates excitement about building!!!!!

Welcome to CHR, Kevin. I agree with Dave, your project needs to be special to you, not just a consensus car. Too many get started, lose enthusiasm and sell at a loss.

Welcome aboard Kevin. We try to be as helpful as possible here as there are folks on the forum that have a great deal of experience. I second Dave S - your dad had the right brand not the usual belly button kind. Look around, decide what you really like and can build, money and experience wise then go for it
