Welcome Phil! Wouldn't worry much about the 8"--unless you're planning on slicks, posi, and some time at the dragstrip the little 8" holds up surprisingly well!!! Light car with street tires won't put a lot of strain on it... Whatever you have specific questions or issues with, just ask away!!!
