New Guy from Merrit Island Florida

Hey guys. Next week I am trading my 1985 Iroc Z28 Camaro for a 1937 Chevy master deluxe 4 door, it is just a empty shell with a frame. I was planning on putting a drive train from a 2000ish s10 into the car, But i was wondering. Would it be possible just to attach the body to an s10 chassis with little or no modifications? I think it would give me the advantage of saving money on revamping the suspension, brakes, etc; and in the long run save me alot on suspension upgrades and probably even performance parts. Advice would be much appreciated. I am also trying to find a good place to find replacement parts if i cant do the conversion.
